Dilapidations claim and refurbishment of 10,000 sq ft industrial unit

We were appointed by a UK industrial property fund to manage the dilapidations process against their outgoing tenant occupying a 10,000 sq ft industrial unit in St. Albans.

Initially we carried out a desk-top review of the case in order to present commercial analysis and recommendations to the landlord, then served a claim (in full compliance with the PLA protocols) and negotiated a successful settlement.

We were then instructed to repair and refurbish the space in order to improve the EPC rating and modernise to suit occupier expectation.
